Position Overview

Job Summary

AHK Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 2+

years of experience in manual testing and basic automation. The ideal candidate should have

strong knowledge of QA methodologies, experience in functional and regression testing, and

hands-on exposure to automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing:

Understand business requirements and technical specifications.

Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Identify, log, and track bugs using defect tracking tools.

Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality delivery.

Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.

Automation (Basic to Intermediate):

Develop and maintain automated test scripts.

Support regression automation suits.

Work with tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / or similar.

Assist in improving test coverage through automation.

Support CI/CD integration of test scripts (basic understanding).

Required Skills

2+ years of experience in Software Testing.

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Experience in manual testing (web or mobile applications).

Basic experience in automation frameworks.

Knowledge of test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

Basic understanding of API testing (Postman or similar).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in writing automation scripts using Java / Python / JavaScript.

Basic knowledge of SQL.

Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Experience in API automation (added advantage).

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
